AMLI Residential is dedicated to providing our residents with an outstanding living environment. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in your decision to make one of our communities your home. Since safety and security are growing concerns in today's society, we have taken the liberty of addressing some of the most commonly asked questions regarding this issue.

Do you keep a spare set of keys to my apartment?
| Yes. AMLI utilizes various key control systems, and keys
are only released to residents and/or authorized persons after obtaining appropriate
identification. We require your written authorization to release a key to someone not
on your lease agreement. Locks are re-keyed after every move-out, and we do not use master keys.

How do you handle lockouts after hours?
| If you should lock yourself out of your apartment after the
management office has closed, it is your responsibility to call a locksmith to gain
entry to your apartment. If the lock is changed by the locksmith, you must notify the office so that the lock may be re-keyed
during office hours. If you should lose your keys, please do not hesitate to ask us to change or re-key your locks. We will be more
than happy to do so at a minimum cost.

Would you ever give out my personal information?

Is my personal information secure?

Who has access to my apartment?
| Community employees and approved vendors
have access to your apartment. Your apartment would be accessed at your request, such as in the case of a service request. In the case of an
emergency, we will enter your apartment immediately. In any other event that management needs to enter your
apartment, we will give written notice as required by law, typically at least 24 hours. |

How do I know this neighborhood is safe?
| The best way to get an accurate picture of any
neighborhood is by contacting the local law
enforcement agency. They are the best equipped for providing you with the
most complete information.

Who would I call to report suspicious activity?
| Please call the local law enforcement agency
immediately to ensure the fastest response possible. Once you’ve notified law enforcement, please notify the management office.

Should I purchase renter's insurance?
| Renter’s insurance is required at most AMLI communities. Even if it is not required, we
strongly recommend renters insurance to protect yourself against liability for your or your guest’s actions and to protect your personal property. Your personal
property is not covered by AMLI’s insurance.

While You Are Inside Your Apartment Home...
|
Keep emergency numbers readily accessible.
Check your smoke detectors periodically to ensure that they are
working properly.
Never leave children alone without appropriate supervision.
Lock your doors and windows, including patio and balcony doors, and utilizing any deadbolts. If you wish to add additional
locks, please contact the management office for assistance.
Do not sleep with doors or windows unlocked and open.
Close your curtains or blinds at night.
Do not answer your door unless you know who is on the other
side. Be skeptical of anyone who asks to enter your home, even just to use the
phone. AMLI Service Personnel can easily be identified by
a photo ID badge and uniform.
Report solicitors to management. Such persons are not
permitted on the property unless prior arrangements are
made with management.
Do not lend out your keys. If you have lost or misplaced a
key, contact management to have your locks changed.
Immediately report any needed repairs of locks, latches,
doors or windows inside your apartment.
Immediately report any needed repair of devices outside
your apartment such as gate locks or burned out lights.
Mark or engrave personal possessions for identification.

While You Are Outside Your Apartment Home...
|
Lock your doors and windows when you are gone, including patio and balcony doors.
Do not hide your front door key under the doormat or around your
front door; it is usually the first place a burglar will look!
Try not to walk alone at night.
Use a lamp timer to turn on lights and leave music or tv on softly when you are not at home.
Arrange for your mail and newspaper delivery to be stopped when
you are away for an extended time.
If you have an entry or alarm system, use it and do not give the code to
guests or strangers.
Do not leave your apartment unlocked, even for a quick
errand. Criminals look for this type of opportunity!
Always be alert and aware of your surroundings. Report suspicious persons or activity to law enforcement promptly.

Regarding Your Automobile...
|
Do not leave your car running while unattended.
Remove or store all valuables out of sight, including any evidence of GPS, other electronics, papers, personal belongings, etc. Your vehicle may be a target because of a clue that something more valuable may be hidden.
Carry your key ring in your hand while walking to your
car, whether it is daylight or dark.
Keep your car locked at all times.
Look inside your vehicle before entering.
